What it’s built from
The heating element sits inside a quartz envelope. Quartz handles sudden temperature shifts well and keeps infrared energy flowing steadily. Inside, halogen gas helps prevent the filament from thinning out, so output stays consistent over time. The reflector has a quality coating that keeps the heat focused where you want it—less stray warmth, more coverage in the right places. For installs, we use an R7s connector. It’s a proven two-pin design that makes the lamp a quick drop-in replacement in standard fixtures. On the shop floor, that means maintenance stays fast and simple.
