We use tempered glass and alloys that don’t rust, keeping the humidity and splashes far away from the electrical guts. You can’t just throw a plastic cover over a cheap heater and call it “waterproof.” The housing has to be designed to breathe and expand as it heats up, or the seals will just crack. A few things to keep in mind for the install. Since these heaters are so powerful, placement is everything. Hang them too low, and you’ll practically bake your guests. Hang them too high, and you lose that instant punch of warmth. It’s all about finding that sweet spot. Also, a quick heads-up on your power. These high-wattage elements pull a lot of juice the moment they kick in. If you’re installing a few of them, don’t just plug them into the nearest outlet.
